Sian Louise Vance is a Manchester based fashion stylist and image maker. A recent graduate from Salford University, Sian has long been exploring why we wear clothes through her work, how fashion sexualises women and today blurs gender boundaries too. "Fashion is not just clothes...what we wear tells a story about who we are. It's so important as a stylist to understand modern society and to work within and outside of its constraints. Today we are convinced that we shouldn't dress in a particular way due to our age, gender, size. I believe in freedom through fashion, and this is what I try to channel through my work."
