Katherine Lam is an illustrator based in the US who creates images with a strong atmosphere and mood. She's inspired by 80s films, fashion, American realist painters (specifically Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth) and 60s music. Although her work is varied, she primarily focuses on creating a image that feels still and quiet, though not necessarily peaceful. Her future goals include making a graphic novel and getting a pet frog. We take a look at some of her recent work.
